Have land and a vision but no plans? We manage the full design and coordination process from concept to certificate of occupancy. You tell us what you want to live in, we handle the design, engineering, permitting, and construction coordination. You contract directly with a licensed general contractor.

This means your GC is directly accountable to you while JMitchell handles the design and oversight. You get an integrated expert team without a middleman between you and the people building your home.

Jenny Mitchell led a $550 million ground-up commercial campus development in Silicon Valley from concept through completion; a three-year engagement managing budgets, contracts, general contractors, change orders, and every stage of construction at a scale and discipline that residential practice rarely sees. She also spent twenty years specifying reinforced concrete for over 2.5 million cubic yards of Bay Area construction, building a materials expertise that most residential designers simply don't have. She brought both the commercial rigor and the concrete knowledge to 5093 Malibu Drive in Paradise, California, which she designed, permitted, and delivered on land she owned as a completed, certified concrete home. That is the experience behind every JMitchell project.

California licensed with direct concrete construction experience. Takes responsible charge of the complete drawing set on every project. ICF wall design, foundation, lateral system, and full structural plan check coordination included on every engagement.
Your Licensed General Contractor
Every JMitchell project is built by a California licensed general contractor with demonstrated concrete construction field experience, selected for your project and contracted directly with you. JMitchell coordinates and oversees their work throughout the build on your behalf.
Trade Network
We source locally whenever possible. JMitchell has established relationships with experienced concrete crews, MEP subcontractors familiar with concrete wall rough-in, and finishing trades who understand concrete construction all available to your general contractor.
Design & Drafting
Architectural and construction drawings prepared by an architecture-trained drafter under the responsible charge of our licensed structural engineer. Every sheet in your drawing set is reviewed, coordinated, and stamped by a licensed professional before permit submittal.
